Please pray for my Dad

Hi everyone. I am sorry I have been away for a while but this has been a hard month for my family.  My Father in Law passed away a month ago after a long illness. Then, my own father went into the hospital in Florida with a very high fever that he has had for 3 weeks. He has had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma for 10 years. If that wasn't enough, my stepmother fell and dislocated her knee and ended up in another hospital at the same time! I flew down to Florida to take care of them and just got back. My Dad had a bone marrow biopsy and they have decided to return home so we can take care of them here.

My stepmother is doing better, but please say a special prayer for my 85 year old father, Bud, who is by far the sweetest man in the world. We get his bone marrow test results this week.

I wanted to share this with you because I feel like you are my sisters from all around the world. I appreciate all of your talent and seeing my images come to life on your cards. Now that I am home, I will be getting back to drawing and posting again.

I love you all,   Karen

  1. Oh Karen, your family have had an awful run of bad luck lately, I'm not at all surprised you have been 'elsewhere'.

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for some good news from you regarding your Dad. Hope the test results are positive :)

  22. Praying for your family. I know these are not easy times for any of you. Our grand daughter was born at 29 weeks gestation 10 days ago and weighs 1 pound 15 ounces. Going back and forth to the hospital is trying for her parents, but we are thankful that she has survived and is doing as well as she is. Blessings to you and your family.
